The locating wires have good biocompatibility and can remain in the human body for 24 hours. There are various product specifications available, allowing for selection based on the depth of the patient's nodules. Comparisons with clinical outcomes of other locating techniques have shown that the use of percutaneous puncture for locating lung nodule significantly reduces the incidence of complications.
